Abstract

A burst error concealment technique for estimating the lost motion vector (MV) for visual communication in a mobile environment was proposed. The features of the proposed technique include its applicability to wireless visual communication with low computational costs and acceptable image quality. In regard with it, the results of the overlapped motion compensation (OMC) were also presented.
