Abstract
We propose an efficient request-based uplink bandwidth allocation algorithm for variable-rate real-time service in broadband wireless access networks. By introducing a notion of target delay under the framework of dual feedback, the proposed algorithm can regulate delay while minimizing delay jitter and bandwidth waste.
