N2 - In this paper, we propose an energy-efficient task scheduler for mobile web browsing, which provides lower CPU resources for non-critical web browser threads. In experiments on an off-the-shelf mobile device, our proposed task scheduler saves average system-wide (not just CPU) energy consumption by 8.2%, compared to the conventional task scheduler, without performance degradation.
