Abstract

Polymer-bonded Terfenol-D composites were formed using a powder with fixed particle size and a phenol-type binder. The magnetic properties of the compacts were investigated by measuring hysteresis loops over a wide frequency range. Finally, the results were compared with modeling provided by the dynamic Preisach model of hysteresis (DPM).
