Bipolaren formation in I 2-doped PBMPV conducting polymers

Abstract

An electron paramagnetic resonance study was made for a series of I 2-doped poly[2-buthoxy-5-methoxy-l,4-phenylenevinylene] conducting polymers. Our systematic measurements of the spin density and the linewidth provide comprehensive evidence for spinless bipolaron formation as the doping proceeds.
