Abstract
The charge transport in oxygen-plasma-treated La0.7Ca 0.3MnO3-δ was discussed. The resistivity measurement showed that oxygen plasma treatment gave rise to oxygen diffusion into bulk regions. The analysis showed a decrease in Mn3+ concentration in oxygen nonstoichiometric La0.7Ca 0.3MnO3-δ and in the activation energies of Holstein's small polarons in the paramagnetic region.
