Abstract

Results of a study about the structure of an axisymmetric blunt flame under various stabilizing conditions are presented. Results of calculation of gas flame allow clarification of certain principles in the development of laminar flames, while a complete study of the aerodynamic structure of a gas flame is possible only by numerical integration of the system of equations with an electronic computer. A laminar jet of a homogeneous gas mixture of fuel, oxidizer and an inert gas is considered.
