Abstract

Reconstruction of the Neoproterozoic to Early Cambrian paleogeography of northeast Asia proposed by Lee et al. (2016, Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology, 441, 770–786) is based on miscalculated statistical values and/or some radiometric data ignored without rationale. The Gondwana linkage between the Korean Peninsula and the Sino-Korean (North China) Block in their model should be reconsidered.
