Abstract

Requirements for mixture formation between A+2B+4O3 and A+3B+3O3 perovskite compounds were examined. The tolerance factor as well as the differences in size and valence of A and B site ions were considered as critical factors. A valence difference is found to be a necessary condition for the mixture formation.
