Abstract

The imaging of vesicles, which were formed by polystyrene (PS)-polyisopropene (PI) diblock copolymer in dialkyl phthalate solvents, was described using cryogenic transmission electron microscopy (cryo-TEM). The vesciles diameters range from about 100 to 200 nm. The contrast reversal of radiolytic effect was observed in PS-PI solutions containing threadlike micelles and spherical micelles in different mixtures of phthalates. It was also observed that by reducing the solvent selectivity, the sample copolymers formed theadlike micelles and then spherical micelles.
