Abstract

This paper presents the development of an image data acquisition system that uses a multi-function front camera in automotive applications. The multi-function front camera detects lanes, vehicles, traffic signals, objects, and pedestrians, and the system signals the driver about these obstacles. The image data acquisition system stores and synchronizes both the recognition results and the vehicular information.
