Abstract

The dynamical response of paramagnetic spin systems in diluted magnetic semiconductor (DMS) quantum dots was investigated using time-resolved spectroscopy. The dynamical spin alignment of magnetic ions incorporated in the crystal matrix caused the transient spectral shift of the photoluminescence signals from which the spin time response was extracted. It was found that formation of ferromagnetically aligned spin complex was stable even at elevated temperatures and high external magnetic fields.
