Abstract

In this paper, we present a computationally efficient digital image stabilization (DIS) scheme for mobile video communications. Simulation results show that the proposed DIS technique with the K-means clustering algorithm can effectively estimate camera motion (hand-movement) using motion vectors decoded from a received video stream such as an MPEG sequence.
