Electrically pumped photonic crystal lasers

Abstract

Electrically-driven single-cell photonic crystal lasers operating at room temperature are discussed. Two nondegenerate resonant modes with a central node are investigated. Several schemes suitable for efficient photon out-coupling will also be discussed.
