Abstract

An experimental investigation on the critical heat flux in a transient boiling system is presented. Experiments are conducted to find that the CHF of forced convective boiling systems in vertical, rectangular channels between parallel plates. The paper aims to investigate the parametric effects on the CHF and to propose the CHF correlation in forced convective transient boiling systems.
