N2 - In this paper, we focus on a new facility location problem, in which a facility in each period can be reconfigured, and opened or closed according to changing customer demand. To solve this problem, a mixed-integer programming model is developed and implemented in Cplex 9.0. Cases are randomly generated to ensure a variety of experimental results. To analyze the proposed model, experiments are performed by varying the length of periods, number of objects, cost structure and customer demand. The results are analyzed.
