Abstract

This paper introduces a new deblocking algorithm which can remove the blockiness without blurring the image details. Due to its low computational complexity, the algorithm can be applied to video streaming application with mobile devices. Through the simulation with mobile devices, we show that our algorithm can successfully reduce the blocking artifacts without excessive blurring.
