Functional PLGA scaffold for induction of chondrogenesis of mesenchymal stem cell

Abstract

The present data demonstrate that funtionalized PLGA/D/T(-) scaffold can promote chondrogenic diffentiation of MSCs with the aid of external supply of chondrogenic factors from culture medium in vitro. Therefore, incorporation of TGF-μ1 and Dex into porous PLGA scaffold may be a suitable platform for the induction of chondrogenic differentiation of MSCs.
