Abstract
Ad hoc networks are extremely flexible and easy to deploy wireless networks. Now, they are extended to be interconnected to the Internet, which are commonly called a hybrid ad hoc network. Still, there are some problems such as increase of network overhead and delay caused by broadcasting control messages in route discovery process. Recently, to improve those problems, some routing schemes using geographical information have been proposed. However, still those schemes have weakness of robustness. And still ad hoc network needs a separate scheme to be connected to the Internet. Here, we propose a hybrid routing scheme with centralized node which provides Internet connectivity and robustness of ad hoc network by maintaining geographical-based routing information of all ad hoc nodes.
