N2 - In this paper, we presented the new interference suppression method using groupwise decorrelation and groupwise interference cancellation for W-CDMA downlink. The codes are grouped by the correlation property between mother code and child code in OVSF code tree. By grouping, the proposed receiver structure has relatively low computational complexity and does not requires any information about interference users(code, data, amplitude). Using interference decorrelation, the proposed receiver has almost the same performance of single user situation.
