Abstract

(Figure Presented) Sorting the mail: A highly selective assay for the detection of multiple DNA targets in solution was developed based on gold nanoparticles with oligonucleotide reporters. Four DNA targets associated with infectious viruses were detected simultaneously without enzymatic amplification at mid-femtomolar concentrations.
