Near-to-far field spectral evolution in plasmonic crystals

Abstract

We report on a drastic near-to-far field spectral evolution in the transmission spectra of metallic nanoslit arrays. The far-field spectral minimum is located exactly at the near-field spectral maximum, confirming an equipartition of diffraction orders.
