Abstract

The surface vibrational spectroscopy dependent on the nonlinear optical processes was described. The nature and detailed information of strength of intermolecular couplings at the surfaces was studied. The two dimensional vibrational spectroscopy on the surfaces demonstrated by C-O stretch vibration on ruthenium surfaces was also presented.
