The approach developed in the present paper describes oblique penetration of a rigid projectile into an elastic-plastic target. The method of singularities is used to construct the flow field in the target corresponding to longitudinal and transverse motion of the projectile. Drag and moment of force imposed on the projectile are calculated by integrating the stresses on its surface in contact with target material.
