A narrow charmoniumlike state in exclusive B±→K ±π+π-J/φ decays was observed. This mass value and the absence of a strong signal in the γχc1 decay channel were in some disagreement with potential model expectations for the 3Dc2 charmonium state. The mass was within errors at the D0D*0 mass threshold. The results show that charmonium decays to ρJ/φ violate isospin and are expected to be suppressed.
