Off-axis self-interference based DIC imaging of living cells

Abstract

We developed a new DIC imaging method based on off-axis sample wavefront selfinterference. It provides quantitative phase gradient imaging and is extremely simple to implement on any standard microscope. Live cell imaging is demonstrated.
