Abstract

Singlewalled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs)-based field emitters are made by use of a spray method. They were dispersed in transfer-ribonucleic acid (t-RNA) aqueous solution and sprayed onto a photoresist-masked indium tin oxide glass substrate. After left-off process, well-defined t-RNA-SWNT hybrids pattern array is obtained and they were found to be tightly adhered to the ITO electrode. Good field emission properties were exhibited.
