N2 - Vapor deposited functional polymer thin films can undergo rapid covalent functionalization. Patterning of two functional layers displaying orthogonal reactivity enables sorting of aqueous mixtures of dyes and nanoparticles, such as quantum dots, onto selective areas of nanopatterned surfaces.
