Abstract

The production of prompt [Formula presented], [Formula presented], [Formula presented], and [Formula presented] is studied using a [Formula presented] data sample collected with the Belle detector at [Formula presented] and at [Formula presented] below the resonance. The yield of prompt [Formula presented] mesons in the [Formula presented] sample is compatible with that of continuum production; we set an upper limit [Formula presented] at the [Formula presented] confidence level, and find [Formula presented]. The cross sections for prompt [Formula presented] and direct [Formula presented] are measured. The [Formula presented] momentum spectrum, production angle distribution, and polarization are studied.

The yield of prompt [Formula presented] mesons in the [Formula presented] sample is compatible with that of continuum production; we set an upper limit [Formula presented] at the [Formula presented] confidence level, and find [Formula presented]. The cross sections for prompt [Formula presented] and direct [Formula presented] are measured. The [Formula presented] momentum spectrum, production angle distribution, and polarization are studied.
