Abstract

In this paper, a smart electric vehicle charging method is proposed for smart home/building with a photovoltaic system. The proposed method is designed to determine the charging schedule of an electric vehicle based on the predicted photovoltaic output and electricity consumption. Numerical results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.
