Abstract
The bulk sensitivity of Korean bakelite is analyzed as a function of temperature in the range 20-30 °C and relative humidity in the range 35-65%. Strong dependence of resistivity on both temperature and humidity is observed. Measurements are carried out in the framework of research and development work on resistive plate chambers which will be used in the CMS detector.
