Abstract

We used wavelength-locked outputs from ASE-injected F-P LDs having narrow mode spacing and asymmetric facet reflectivity as transmitters in a WDM-PON. Trial transmission of HDTV and Ethernet data over the WDM-PON is demonstrated.
