Transparent film heater based on single-walled carbon nanotubes

Abstract

We fabricated transparent film heaters using single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and investigated their heating performance. We studied thermal behavior of the transparent film heaters by using thermal cyclic experiment. We discussed physical meanings underlying the experimental results and how to make use of the findings. The transparent conducting film using SWCNTs could be a good candidate for the heater in many applications requiring both heating function and transparency.
