Abstract
The synthesis of gallium nitride nanorods using chemical vapor deposition was discussed. All nanorods exhibited a triangle cross section with an average diameter of 50 nm. The temperature-dependent photoluminescence exhibited the I2 and free-to-bound emission peak, and no shift of the lattice constants from those of the bulk was observed.
