    Abstract

Blue nevus rarely develops into malignant melanoma. Nevertheless, an irregular margin, asymmetrical size enlargement and the development of satellite lesions are an ominous clinical indication of malignant melanoma. However, all the satellite lesions in blue nevus do not necessarily implicate malignant change. Cases of blue nevus with satellite lesions, but histopathologically no malignant change, have rarely been reported. We report two cases of common blue nevus with satellite lesions.
